Fantastic hotel
What a lovely hotel. The room was lovely, even though we had to climb lots of stairs to get to it! Fab selection of teas & coffees including shortbread. Clean and warm.
Food in restaurant perfect. We breakfast 2 days and dinner one evening. Lots to choose from at breakfast, both continental and hot options. Dinner was delicious, though there weren't many choices, but that was OK.
The hotel was in lovely grounds at the end of a long drive, so no road noise. We will definitely return.
Great hotel
Our stay was lovely. The staff were warm , welcoming , freindly , they couldn t do enough for us . The hotel Was very nice and the room was adequate , the widows were rotten but other than that it was clean and well equipped with a comfy bed .
The hotel was cold in the public areas , no radiators were on and the only heat was a coal fire which really wasn t enough.
The food was very good the second evening was better than the first , the breakfast were excellent. The hotel was set in lovely well cared for grounds and the hotel
Was well presented .it was very peaceful and relaxing . All the staff worked very hard and were lovely. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return and recommend to others
One night in luxury surroundings
Had a one night stay. Room fab very large and comfortable. Evening meal was great as was breakfast. Have stayed before and will again.
