If you prefer a more formal dining experience, your pup can rest comfortably in your room while you indulge in a fine-dining feast in the restaurant, the team are always on hand to ensure both two- and four-legged guests are perfectly looked after.
Please note that the restaurant is closed on Monday and Tuesday all year round, there is no evening bar service on these days. Breakfast on Tuesday and Wednesday is continental only.

Orestone Manor
A lovely hotel with outstanding food but for the money I wouldn't expect to be served jam and marmalade in plastic pots at breakfast. It was also irksome to have to book a time for breakfast the night before which didn't lend itself to a particularly relaxing start to the day. It would have been better if the bathrobes had already been in the bathroom instead of being issued on request: ours took ages to arrive and, when they did, one of them had a dirty face flannel in the pocket which, unfortunately, my husband didn't notice until our last morning. On the positive side, the food was excellent, the location was beautiful, our room and bathroom were of a really good size and the staff friendly.

The food at Orestone Manor is absolutely wonderful. We stayed for 4 nights and every evening was a delight. Very attentive friendly staff. Comfortable bed and bedding. Lots of parking. Beautiful view down to the sea from our bedroom.

How to get here
Approaching from Teignmouth
On the A379 (signposted Torquay), look for the Torquay sign (stay with main road and do not follow signs for Maidencombe Village and beach) and one mile further on, turn 'acute left' into Rockhouse Lane. There is a signpost to the hotel on the main A379 road at the top of Rockhouse Lane.
From Torquay
Follow the A379 (signposted Teignmouth) up Watcombe Hill. Then watch for Brunel Manor and turn right down Rockhouse Lane approximately 50 yards further on.
