Orestone Manor
We had a lovely one night stay as a treat for our 37th wedding anniversary. We were warmly welcomed and shown to our room, which was huge and very nicely furnished. The level of cleanliness was excellent, but the decor had started to need a little attention. We were given a choice of times for our evening meal, the menu choices were really good and the dishes we selected were delicious. The restaurant would have been rated as excellent but there was a problem at breakfast, not enough tables had been allocated so there was a delay, tables had to be relaid, but the staff worked extra quick to accomodate all the guests. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

There was a good choice of dishes for each course on the menu with daily changes. This is good when you are staying for several nights.
Lovely for a night away
My partner and I had a nice and very welcomed break for an evening here.
The food in the restaurant was fantastic and very much enjoyed, and the staff friendly and welcoming.
The main disapointment was that the hot tub, although for our own private use, was not in as much a private setting as we thought it might be... Overlooking the car park... which made getting in and out of it a bit of a show to anyone who may have been in their vehicles... and adjacent to the next doors room hottub on their own bit of balcony. This is the main reason why, given the choice of a romantic hot tub hotel, that we likely wouldn't head back to Orestone because we felt a little on show.
I'm sure though our answer on if we would stay here again, may have been different if we had stayed in the house or their garden room.
