You can enjoy breakfast, lunch, or a relaxed supper with your dog by your side in the bar or out on the sunny terrace, well-behaved pets are welcome to dine al fresco while you soak up those beautiful sea views.
If you prefer a more formal dining experience, your pup can rest comfortably in your room while you indulge in a fine-dining feast in the restaurant, the team are always on hand to ensure both two- and four-legged guests are perfectly looked after.
Please note that the restaurant is closed on Monday and Tuesday all year round, there is no evening bar service on these days. Breakfast on Tuesday and Wednesday is continental only.

Gourmet break
First break for 6 years after caring for elderly mother so wanted to be spoilt for a few days that really happened .the room was fantastic just right for relaxing in the food exceptional beautifully presented the only down side it was down a very narrow lane at the top of a very steep hill so there was nowhere to go for a walk .
Great stay
My husband and I enjoyed a lovely three day break, Hot Tub Heaven . Excellent service. The food was yummy, well presented, appropriate gaps between each course and a different menu each evening.
Ticks a lot of boxes
We enjoyed our stay so much that we have recommended the hotel to the Good Hotel Guide. It provided a very peaceful, relaxing holiday away from the hustle and bustle of Torquay yet with easy access to many places of interest. Staff were most attentive, we enjoyed the food with the addition of a la carte options although the main menu had some changes every night. Our room was well furnished and equipped with a good shower and a proper dressing table was appreciated. The only item needed was a shower cap (they didn't have any). Definitely a hotel to visit if in this area.

How to get here
Approaching from Teignmouth
On the A379 (signposted Torquay), look for the Torquay sign (stay with main road and do not follow signs for Maidencombe Village and beach) and one mile further on, turn 'acute left' into Rockhouse Lane. There is a signpost to the hotel on the main A379 road at the top of Rockhouse Lane.
From Torquay
Follow the A379 (signposted Teignmouth) up Watcombe Hill. Then watch for Brunel Manor and turn right down Rockhouse Lane approximately 50 yards further on.
