If you prefer a more formal dining experience, your pup can rest comfortably in your room while you indulge in a fine-dining feast in the restaurant, the team are always on hand to ensure both two- and four-legged guests are perfectly looked after.
Please note that the restaurant is closed on Monday and Tuesday all year round, there is no evening bar service on these days. Breakfast on Tuesday and Wednesday is continental only.

Delicious Food
Staff are very helpful and the food delicious. The hotel ambiance is very nice but the superior room (10) we had was not. It meant climbing up very steep stairs to what I assume to be the attics. Everything in the room was on a slant and the bed had a very strange topper on which made you feel you were sleeping on a water bed. We didn t sleep at all well and would like to suggest that the hotel put a member of staff there to see how it is. It had the effect of us constantly rolling towards the middle and was extremely uncomfortable. Overall we enjoyed our stay but wish we had been given a different room.
Beautiful place, beautiful stay
We enjoyed 2 lovely nights here. The food was excellent and they catered really well with gluten free dietary requirements.
The staff were friendly, helpful and attentive.
The ambience was relaxing, restful, tastefully decorated and we appreciated the classic style.
We would definitely stay here again, and recommend it to others.
A real find just outside Torquay
Very welcoming check-in by Kirsty. From that moment, we enjoyed a very relaxing stay. All the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful A lovely verandah to sit and enjoy a drink, looking out over the well maintained gardens and out to the sea. Great food in the restaurant; well appointed, spacious room, with a seating area, a large bathroom and walk-in shower; separate toilet. Spotlessly clean throughout. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Orestone Manor and would gladly return!

How to get here
Approaching from Teignmouth
On the A379 (signposted Torquay), look for the Torquay sign (stay with main road and do not follow signs for Maidencombe Village and beach) and one mile further on, turn 'acute left' into Rockhouse Lane. There is a signpost to the hotel on the main A379 road at the top of Rockhouse Lane.
From Torquay
Follow the A379 (signposted Teignmouth) up Watcombe Hill. Then watch for Brunel Manor and turn right down Rockhouse Lane approximately 50 yards further on.
