You can enjoy breakfast, lunch, or a relaxed supper with your dog by your side in the bar or out on the sunny terrace, well-behaved pets are welcome to dine al fresco while you soak up those beautiful sea views.
If you prefer a more formal dining experience, your pup can rest comfortably in your room while you indulge in a fine-dining feast in the restaurant, the team are always on hand to ensure both two- and four-legged guests are perfectly looked after.
Please note that the restaurant is closed on Monday and Tuesday all year round, there is no evening bar service on these days. Breakfast on Tuesday and Wednesday is continental only.

A lovely short break
Well located and well run.
A great break for adults
Orestone manor is a hotel in a true country house style. It is owned and run be a family who are committed to providing good food and service. Overall you get the feeling of old style comfort with a discrete service, this is reinforced by the lounge areas which embrace that feel with leather chesterfields and sumptuous sofas. The house is well decorated and maintains the feel with an eclectic mix of art and fixtures throughout. Our room in the eves of the hotel was very comfortable with views out over the garden to Lyme Bay and beyond. We ate in the restaurant on two consecutive nights and both were very good and with good choices for vegetarian. The wine list was well balanced in both choice and price which allowed for good pairings with the food. Waiting staff were polite, professional and informative and nothing was too much trouble a good front of house team which is becoming rarer that you think. We spent some time after dinner having a drink with Neil D allen owner and chief and had a great conversation about his and his wife s philosophy for the hotel and restaurant and how they balance modern food expectations with real world issues. Overall we enjoyed our stay and dining experience and not only would we recommend Orestone Manor we would definitely stay again.

Approaching from Teignmouth
On the A379 (signposted Torquay), look for the Torquay sign (stay with main road and do not follow signs for Maidencombe Village and beach) and one mile further on, turn 'acute left' into Rockhouse Lane. There is a signpost to the hotel on the main A379 road at the top of Rockhouse Lane.
From Torquay
Follow the A379 (signposted Teignmouth) up Watcombe Hill. Then watch for Brunel Manor and turn right down Rockhouse Lane approximately 50 yards further on.
