If you prefer a more formal dining experience, your pup can rest comfortably in your room while you indulge in a fine-dining feast in the restaurant, the team are always on hand to ensure both two- and four-legged guests are perfectly looked after.
Please note that the restaurant is closed on Monday and Tuesday all year round, there is no evening bar service on these days. Breakfast on Tuesday and Wednesday is continental only.

LOVELY HOTEL
We enjoyed our stay very much in our rooms with a view.
Excellent food, nicely presented and served; very good wine selection.
Covid arrangements were very good, implemented well and we felt safe as a result.
All staff were very welcoming and helpful.
Would have appreciated offered assistance with suitcases on arrival and departure without asking - our rooms in the attic were up seven (thankfully quite short) flights of stairs after all.
Brilliant
We had a wonderful stay from start to finish, fantastic value for money at a venue that exceeded our expectations, fantastic sea views. Restaurant, food and service were all second to none.
Staff are welcoming, both polite and attentive without being over familiar. A hotel to return to!

How to get here
Approaching from Teignmouth
On the A379 (signposted Torquay), look for the Torquay sign (stay with main road and do not follow signs for Maidencombe Village and beach) and one mile further on, turn 'acute left' into Rockhouse Lane. There is a signpost to the hotel on the main A379 road at the top of Rockhouse Lane.
From Torquay
Follow the A379 (signposted Teignmouth) up Watcombe Hill. Then watch for Brunel Manor and turn right down Rockhouse Lane approximately 50 yards further on.
