If you prefer a more formal dining experience, your pup can rest comfortably in your room while you indulge in a fine-dining feast in the restaurant, the team are always on hand to ensure both two- and four-legged guests are perfectly looked after.
Please note that the restaurant is closed on Monday and Tuesday all year round, there is no evening bar service on these days. Breakfast on Tuesday and Wednesday is continental only.

Pleasant stay
Greeted with a warm welcome and shown to a nicely decorated room with great views. This was a lovely getaway that I have already recommended to friends.
Luxury with peace and quiet.
Excellent hotel, our room had a large balcony overlooking superb gardens. The whole hotel was spotless with large lounges and a sun terrace. We stayed h/b, breakfast was perfect and the choice for dinner at night was from two menus from which you could pick and mix. Particular praise for the Latvian waitress who was very professional and courteous working both morning and evening shifts with a smile. If you didn't want to make the 5 minute drive to Torquay (parking expensive) a bus service is available on the main road about 400 metres away. One word of warning don't try walking to the pub down the road towards the sea, the walk back is a killer!

How to get here
Approaching from Teignmouth
On the A379 (signposted Torquay), look for the Torquay sign (stay with main road and do not follow signs for Maidencombe Village and beach) and one mile further on, turn 'acute left' into Rockhouse Lane. There is a signpost to the hotel on the main A379 road at the top of Rockhouse Lane.
From Torquay
Follow the A379 (signposted Teignmouth) up Watcombe Hill. Then watch for Brunel Manor and turn right down Rockhouse Lane approximately 50 yards further on.
