If you prefer a more formal dining experience, your pup can rest comfortably in your room while you indulge in a fine-dining feast in the restaurant, the team are always on hand to ensure both two- and four-legged guests are perfectly looked after.
Please note that the restaurant is closed on Monday and Tuesday all year round, there is no evening bar service on these days. Breakfast on Tuesday and Wednesday is continental only.

Romantic Stay
We booked a one night stay in the coach house suite with a hot tub. We booked the restaurant for a meal in the evening, overall the restaurant and accommodation was fantastic. Full English breakfast the following morning was also excellent.
Can also recommend the local pub at the bottom of the hill, word of warning a very steep trek back to the hotel.
Romantic overnight stay and would definitely go back again
A little piece of heaven in Torquay
We stayed here with some friends and found the whole experience so fabulous we asked if we could stay another night. The food is amazing and the rooms are imaculate. This family run hotel manages to deliver a first class experience while making you feel like an old family friend. Craig and the team were all excellent. We couldn't fault the place. Room 7 is fab as you can lie in bed and watch the sun rise over the ocean. I especially loved the roll top bath. We can't wait to return.

The staff made us feel welcome and safe during our first getaway since March.

How to get here
Approaching from Teignmouth
On the A379 (signposted Torquay), look for the Torquay sign (stay with main road and do not follow signs for Maidencombe Village and beach) and one mile further on, turn 'acute left' into Rockhouse Lane. There is a signpost to the hotel on the main A379 road at the top of Rockhouse Lane.
From Torquay
Follow the A379 (signposted Teignmouth) up Watcombe Hill. Then watch for Brunel Manor and turn right down Rockhouse Lane approximately 50 yards further on.
