If you prefer a more formal dining experience, your pup can rest comfortably in your room while you indulge in a fine-dining feast in the restaurant, the team are always on hand to ensure both two- and four-legged guests are perfectly looked after.
Please note that the restaurant is closed on Monday and Tuesday all year round, there is no evening bar service on these days. Breakfast on Tuesday and Wednesday is continental only.

Excellent Hotel in Quiet Location
This staff could not be more helpful or professional. The classic room we stayed in was well appointed with a good bathroom( a shelf below the mirror would have been nice though).
All of the public rooms were also to an excellent standard.
The breakfast could not be better and dinner was food to die for. Piping hot coffee was served at breakfast and dinner,
The hotel is situated close to the South West Coast Path, and a local bus stop is a short walk away.
Lovely cosy charming hotel.
Our second visit, just as good as the first. Great food in a relaxing, cosy atmosphere. Would highly recommend for couples or small groups.
No review title
Very good hotel, superb rooms, but did lack a lift to get to the second floor. The food was excellent and the hotels location is in a very picturesque position. I was concerned that the hotel was in Torquay as I am not a fan of that area, but it is located in beautiful country side nearer to Teignmouth than Torquay. The rooms were very well appointed and the staff were very attentive. We would like to visit this hotel again.

Approaching from Teignmouth
On the A379 (signposted Torquay), look for the Torquay sign (stay with main road and do not follow signs for Maidencombe Village and beach) and one mile further on, turn 'acute left' into Rockhouse Lane. There is a signpost to the hotel on the main A379 road at the top of Rockhouse Lane.
From Torquay
Follow the A379 (signposted Teignmouth) up Watcombe Hill. Then watch for Brunel Manor and turn right down Rockhouse Lane approximately 50 yards further on.
