If you prefer a more formal dining experience, your pup can rest comfortably in your room while you indulge in a fine-dining feast in the restaurant, the team are always on hand to ensure both two- and four-legged guests are perfectly looked after.
Please note that the restaurant is closed on Monday and Tuesday all year round, there is no evening bar service on these days. Breakfast on Tuesday and Wednesday is continental only.

A very comfortable and friendly hotel
We had visited this hotel many years ago with previous owners and always thought that we would like to revisit it.
This year not being able to cruise we decided that we would look to have a short UK break.
Having seen this hotel advertised we decided to visit this for a four night break
We were very pleasantly surprised that it was even better than we remembered,.
WE had a brilliant bedroom and enjoyed the very good food.
The staff were wonderful and coped very well with the difficult situation that we face this year.
We have already recommended this hotel to some of our friends
August Break
As soon as we arrived at the hotel we were warmly received at the reception desk.
The protocols put in place to mitigate against Covid 19 made us feel safe.
All the staff at the hotel were friendly, knowledgeable and professional.
The food at the hotel was worth the stay alone; all the dishes were beautifully presented and were all delicious.
We would thoroughly recommend a stay at this lovely hotel.
Great place for a short break
We recently spent four days at Orestone Manor. We chose one of the suites in the Coach House. Great accommodation with bedroom, en-suite and balcony with a hot tub downstairs and sitting room with balcony upstairs with a great view to the sea.
We had dinner, bed & breakfast. The breakfast was very good and a great start to the day. The dinners in the evening were superb; a different menu each night and all dishes we choose were beautifully cooked and presented.
I feel that a special mention is due to all the staff that looked after us. In difficult circumstance, just coming out of of lock-down, they made us feel very comfortable and at no time did we feel vulnerable.
A great stay and thanks to all that made it so.

Approaching from Teignmouth
On the A379 (signposted Torquay), look for the Torquay sign (stay with main road and do not follow signs for Maidencombe Village and beach) and one mile further on, turn 'acute left' into Rockhouse Lane. There is a signpost to the hotel on the main A379 road at the top of Rockhouse Lane.
From Torquay
Follow the A379 (signposted Teignmouth) up Watcombe Hill. Then watch for Brunel Manor and turn right down Rockhouse Lane approximately 50 yards further on.
