If you prefer a more formal dining experience, your pup can rest comfortably in your room while you indulge in a fine-dining feast in the restaurant, the team are always on hand to ensure both two- and four-legged guests are perfectly looked after.

Orestone Manor
Helpful staff, good food, a comfortable hotel. Unfortunately, some investment in the decor and grounds is required to make this an outstanding hotel.
36th Wedding Anniversary
We had a lovely time breakfasts were excellent as was the dinner. The staff were very helpful nothing was good much they even gave us a happy anniversary card nice touch. Our only problem was with the mattress on the bed it was very soft so did not sleep that well otherwise could not fault it.
Pleasant stay
We stayed at Orestone Manor in September.
We were warmly welcomed on arrival and our room was available early which was a great bonus. Although within plenty of time, we enquired about having a light lunch however there was initially some doubt about whether this was going to be possible which was unfortunate as we felt we were imposing. We were accommodated however and sat on the sunny terrace overlooking a beautiful garden and enjoyed an excellent salad/soup.
We had a fabulous view from our bedroom overlooking the garden with a glimpse of the sea. It s a minor thing and very much our personal view however the quirky decoration was not to our taste and it felt a little dated.
Our evening meal was excellent as was the service. The food choice was interesting, the plates were beautifully presented and the ambience pleasant. Would definitely visit the restaurant again if in the area. Breakfast was also very good, plentiful and again plenty of choice.
The hotel is well located for lovely countryside and the next morning we walked down to Maidencombe beach which was lovely.
All in all, a pleasant stay.

How to get here
Approaching from Teignmouth
On the A379 (signposted Torquay), look for the Torquay sign (stay with main road and do not follow signs for Maidencombe Village and beach) and one mile further on, turn 'acute left' into Rockhouse Lane. There is a signpost to the hotel on the main A379 road at the top of Rockhouse Lane.
From Torquay
Follow the A379 (signposted Teignmouth) up Watcombe Hill. Then watch for Brunel Manor and turn right down Rockhouse Lane approximately 50 yards further on.
