If you prefer a more formal dining experience, your pup can rest comfortably in your room while you indulge in a fine-dining feast in the restaurant, the team are always on hand to ensure both two- and four-legged guests are perfectly looked after.
Please note that the restaurant is closed on Monday and Tuesday all year round, there is no evening bar service on these days. Breakfast on Tuesday and Wednesday is continental only.

Heaven in Devon!
Very friendly and comfortable hotel.Peace perfect peace with very little traffic and no light pollution,so the stars were amazing!
Two night stay
A first class stay at a very well run hotel. All staff welcoming and efficient. Room we had requested when booking was not available on our arrival and we were upgraded to a suite at no extra cost. Made our stay most enjoyable. Only comment is that as hotel is on a steep narrow road running down to Maidencombe and the beach it is not really practicable to walk from hotel either up or down the hill. Very steep. Not really an issue but prevents a pre breakfast stroll or local wander. Torquay is not really worth a visit but Dartmouth is.
Absolutely magical
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We could not find one fault with this exceptional place. All the staff are outstanding and the hotel is fabulous. What more can I say only we will definitely return again.

How to get here
Approaching from Teignmouth
On the A379 (signposted Torquay), look for the Torquay sign (stay with main road and do not follow signs for Maidencombe Village and beach) and one mile further on, turn 'acute left' into Rockhouse Lane. There is a signpost to the hotel on the main A379 road at the top of Rockhouse Lane.
From Torquay
Follow the A379 (signposted Teignmouth) up Watcombe Hill. Then watch for Brunel Manor and turn right down Rockhouse Lane approximately 50 yards further on.
