If you prefer a more formal dining experience, your pup can rest comfortably in your room while you indulge in a fine-dining feast in the restaurant, the team are always on hand to ensure both two- and four-legged guests are perfectly looked after.
Please note that the restaurant is closed on Monday and Tuesday all year round, there is no evening bar service on these days. Breakfast on Tuesday and Wednesday is continental only.

Amazing stay
We had such a brilliant time at Orestone Manor - what a fabulous hotel. My wife and I stayed for one night in one of the suites with a hot tub and the accommodation certainly lived up to expectations. The hot tub was great - actually made better by it being a bit chilly outside given it was November - the bed was really comfortable and the upstairs - complete with fridge, coffee maker, sofa, TV and bath (yes, bath!) was awesome.
The staff at the hotel were all brilliant - the bar man was especially helpful in recommending exceptionally tasty drinks (such as which tonics to have with which gins!) and the food was brilliant. It is definitely a 'classic' menu - some might say slightly old school - but don't let that fool you. Each course was delicious and my wife and I both agreed we hadn't had a meal like that for some time. Really yummy!
The hotel is also exceptionally placed for walking - we explored one of the nearby beaches via the coast path to help us walk the hearty breakfast off in the morning.
Overall, an absolutely amazing stay and given how precious and how important it was for us that the hotel lived up to expectations (it was our first night away from our daughters in two years!) it delivered on every front.

How to get here
Approaching from Teignmouth
On the A379 (signposted Torquay), look for the Torquay sign (stay with main road and do not follow signs for Maidencombe Village and beach) and one mile further on, turn 'acute left' into Rockhouse Lane. There is a signpost to the hotel on the main A379 road at the top of Rockhouse Lane.
From Torquay
Follow the A379 (signposted Teignmouth) up Watcombe Hill. Then watch for Brunel Manor and turn right down Rockhouse Lane approximately 50 yards further on.
