Luxury break?
We booked this all inclusive break to enjoy some comfort and good food with sea views. The hotel is in a lovely setting once you have negotiated the sharp turn off the main road! There are sea views from the terraces and gardens, as well as the dining room. Our large de luxe room on the first floor also had a view of the sea through the trees. We had the only room with a separate toilet/ bidet which was fine. The bathroom had a hand held shower in the bath, but no shower curtain. The walk-in shower was spacious, but the shower is a fixed, overhead rain shower which I didn t like because I really didn t want to wash my hair every time. No shower cap was provided.
The room had comfortable chairs by the big window, a table for books, cups etc. and a splendid TV.
The large sledge bed looked very inviting but sadly the mattress is on a wooden, not a sprung base, so I found it too firm. A decent mattress topper would help.
We were booked Monday and Tuesday and the restaurant is closed on a Tuesday so no lunch or dinner available.
Breakfast, however, can be very substantial. There s a lovely buffet of pastries, fruit, cereals, yoghurt etc. and a good cooked menu. My boiled eggs with soldiers were excellent and the full English well cooked.
Dinner on Monday evening was delicious.
The service is exemplary, helpful, pleasant and friendly. Unfortunately we couldn t enjoy the outdoor seating or garden because the weather was unkind. The indoor lounge area is comfortable enough but a wee bit gloomy and no views.

Pleasant stay.
A lot of stairs but a comfortable hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Excellent restaurant with perfectly cooked and well presented dishes.
