If you prefer a more formal dining experience, your pup can rest comfortably in your room while you indulge in a fine-dining feast in the restaurant, the team are always on hand to ensure both two- and four-legged guests are perfectly looked after.
Please note that the restaurant is closed on Monday and Tuesday all year round, there is no evening bar service on these days. Breakfast on Tuesday and Wednesday is continental only.

Wonderful anniversary celebration
The private garden room was just wonderful to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The staff were simply wonderful & just had the most amazing stay. Thank you Orestone Manor.
Wonderful relaxing break
Lovely 3 nights in the hotel, had the wonderful garden room. The hot tub was amazing with a private terrace and sun beds with sea views. Hotel very COVID aware and precautions were all in place to make you feel safe. Although room was not serviced, supplies and towels etc were replaced each day and left outside the room. Food was excellent and the waiting on staff couldn t have done more for guests. The complimentary cream tea was just delicious and the evening meal menu was great with the best fillet steak we have ever tasted. Would love to return in the future
A very comfortable and friendly hotel
We had visited this hotel many years ago with previous owners and always thought that we would like to revisit it.
This year not being able to cruise we decided that we would look to have a short UK break.
Having seen this hotel advertised we decided to visit this for a four night break
We were very pleasantly surprised that it was even better than we remembered,.
WE had a brilliant bedroom and enjoyed the very good food.
The staff were wonderful and coped very well with the difficult situation that we face this year.
We have already recommended this hotel to some of our friends

How to get here
Approaching from Teignmouth
On the A379 (signposted Torquay), look for the Torquay sign (stay with main road and do not follow signs for Maidencombe Village and beach) and one mile further on, turn 'acute left' into Rockhouse Lane. There is a signpost to the hotel on the main A379 road at the top of Rockhouse Lane.
From Torquay
Follow the A379 (signposted Teignmouth) up Watcombe Hill. Then watch for Brunel Manor and turn right down Rockhouse Lane approximately 50 yards further on.
