Amazing - what a wonderful place
Everything about our stay was perfect. The staff are fantastic and go above and beyond to make your stay amazing. We loved our room which was stocked with yummy biscuits, a range of hot drinks, complementary spring water and luxury toiletries. The spa and treatments are lovely. The restaurant has a relaxing classy feel and excellent staff- as for the food it was brilliant and we were always very satisfied! Location fab for the coast, walks, cosy pubs and big views. Can t wait to return!

On arrival were pleasantly surprised to have been upgraded to The Jefferson Suite, it exceeded our expectations. We dined in the brasserie for breakfast and for dinner on both nights- lovely hearty food with a French twist. The spa (small but perfectly functional) was welcomed after a freezing cold walk to Whitby in February during Storm Ciara!
Lovely stay
We had a brilliant time at Raithwaite. The room was large and the wet room ideal although a little shelf near the seat would be useful for disabled guests. The gardens lovely and food delicious, the only downside was lack of choice for breakfast but what we had was delicious, hence 4 score for value for money.
What made the stay extra special was Simon and the rest of the staff. He went that extra mile to look after my disabled husband and is a great asset to the hotel.
