Lovely stay
We had a brilliant time at Raithwaite. The room was large and the wet room ideal although a little shelf near the seat would be useful for disabled guests. The gardens lovely and food delicious, the only downside was lack of choice for breakfast but what we had was delicious, hence 4 score for value for money.
What made the stay extra special was Simon and the rest of the staff. He went that extra mile to look after my disabled husband and is a great asset to the hotel.
Excellent weekend break
On arrival the staff were very welcoming , the room was faultless , we ate in the restaurant which was superb food and service , breakfast was more than adequate , the location is great, only a short walk to sands end along the beach or the other way is Whitby, again a great walk and very rewarding, we finished off the week end with afternoon tea in the bar!
We did use the spa facility s which again were very good for a hotel of that size, we would defiantly stay again, if I could fault anything it would be the lack of a Usb socket in the room
Get away
Staff were very welcoming. Free upgrade on room was a lovely surprise. Didn't use spa, and although our room was excellent, due to covid there was no room service. We thought this price could have been restructured to show this. All in all lovely stay and really nice staff. No baked beans at breakfast was a bit disappointing
