Staff friendly and helpful the restaurant was disappointing . A lounge area would be a benefit.
Honeymoon stay
Unfortunately the hotel was not up to the high standard we were expecting.
The hotel reception staff were great and so was the food
The restaurant service wasn t up to standard and the rooms were lacking.
It may be down to COVID-19 but it wasn t what we re expecting on our honeymoon.
OK but could do better
Well appointed hotel, though hidden away - no views and no ready access to the seafront. Room fine - grab rails in the shower would be welcome . Dinner menu pricy and too "gourmet" for my taste but my wife enjoyed the lobster (and oysters). Breakfast offering needs improvement. No rolls or baguette, only cut bread and a self toasting machine. Staff always friendly and welcoming but service a bit hit and miss. OK but could be better. Might stay again if in the area - not sure.
