The bar is ever-changing and makes a fun spot for seasonal drinks, with cosy seating areas centred around vast contemporary pieces of art with delicious food and drinks on the menu. Breakfast is served in a bright dining room with views overlooking Bath Abbey and opens up into the conservatory, where morning coffee and afternoon tea can be enjoyed. Perfect hotel for city break
Stayed for just one night but managed to squeeze a lot in to 2 days sightseeing in Bath. Hotel very relaxed atmosphere, with attentive but not instructive staff delivering great customer service. Rooms are quirky but well maintained, as are the reception and bar areas. Very good freshly cooked breakfast with lots of choice for hot and cold options. Would definitely recommend a visit.
Amazing place in a beautiful city
Me and a friend went along to The Bird spend some time out of London, and were treated extremely well by the very welcoming staff, who gave us clear directions of how to get to many of the places we d planned to go over the weekend.
Breakfast was tip top, the beds were very comfy, shower was hot and strong, and I would absolutely stay here again.
Enjoyable Stay
Initial miscommunication between hotel and Off Peak Luxury regarding room grade quickly sorted. Stayed in a Splendid Luxe with views of Bath Abbey and croquet lawn. Cosy room with lack of wardrobe due to space but not a major issue for us as we were only staying 2 nights. Must ask if you would like your room cleaned! Dressing gowns would be nice for the money paid. Fab toiletries.
Breakfast good with option to add further items if desired.
Would recommend eating in town for dinner.
Parking provided so able to leave car at hotel for the duration of the stay as only 5/10 minute walk into town.
