The Snooty Fox Hotel

Excellent!

Had a lovely stay, great room with 4 poster bed. Very comfy, had great nights sleep. Food was very good, traditional pub grub executed brilliantly. Staff are very friendly, nothing too much trouble. Overall an excellent stay, highly recommended.

Lovely location, fantastic accommodation, and even better staff.

We stayed for just one night, taking advantage of a deal including cream tea, dinner, and B&B. Exceptional value for money, and the hotel is beautiful, interesting, comfortable and smart. While we were there, they were having some major refurbishment done, but had organised it so well, you could barely tell. No dust, no noise, and no disturbance to sleep or meals. Well done!
We were met on arrival by staff who knew exactly what they were doing and checked us in in a really friendly and efficient way. The room was lovely, and a very minor issue I had with the shower was dealt with quickly.
The food was excellent, and after dinner we enjoyed a glass of wine outside the front of the bar in front of the stilted market place. Perfect.
Overall, we would definitely return. The bar and accommodation are excellent, but the fantastic staff (Reception, waiting on, bar, and maintenance) mean that this place is a cut above.
