Champagne break

We stayed at the Snooty Fox to celebrate our 40th Wedding Anniversary. We chose the champagne break, we had a friendly welcome when we arrived and our room was ready for us. We stayed for two nights, evening meals were included in the package, they were very good and well presented. All staff were very friendly and nothing was to much trouble. We also had a cream tea which was lovely. Breakfast was great, plenty of choice, all cooked to order.
We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend it to our friends, look forward to staying again in the future.

Stay for anniversary

We stayed here on a deal for our anniversary for 3 nights with bed, breakfast and evening meals included. Bottle of champagne on arrival and cream tea.
When we arrived the person on reception was pleasant and got us checked in. The room was described as a superior room with spa bath (which we were quite excited about). When we got to our room there was a weird smell all the way up the stairs and in the room too. The room was basic at best and the spa bath was a really small bath with a few water jets which we didn't even try.
The best thing about the place was the food was pretty decent and the bar had a pretty good range of drinks. The staff were pleasant enough without being over attentive. The worst thing was the noise from the downstairs bar and right opposite is a market building which has a bell that rings all night. No air con in the rooms.
Tetbury is a pleasant village with more antique shops than anything else. Would I stay there again? Probably not.

Very difficult to review any business working so hard in such challenging circumstances. Only thing please keep champagne and wine chilled.but it we found it not to be the correct thing to mention at the time.Thankyou to all the businesses and people for their hardwork
