Relaxing in style and comfort
We really enjpyed our stay. Lovely welcome, room very comroftable and had everything we needed. The bar and restaurant were welcoming and voffered excellent value for money.
Gardens and general appearance of the hotel was delightful
This is our second visit and we would definitely visit again as the hotel is excellent and in the ideal position to visit so many of the special attractions of the Cotswolds area.
Most enjoyable and relaxing
WE had a wonderful stay at The Wood Norton and would have given excellent for all sections but for the fact that on our first evrnring stay the kitchen was out of order and the poor waitress was run off her feet She needed some help That is our only comment staff was a little sparse.
We shall certainly come again
Dissapointing
Generally ok but needs improvement. Bedroom and other rooms ok. First breakfast good but coffee lukewarm and such a tiny jug for milk, needed to keep going to refill it. First evening meal OK.
On the second morning the porridge was terribly prepared, but the coffee was hot. The second evening meal didn't happen as the rain caused a flood in the kitchen and cooking was not possible. We ordered wine and we were offered charcuterie and cheese. We only wanted cheese and crackers and ice cream.
As we had an allowance for food and drink I was more than surprised that we were asked to pay an additional small amount.given that we had not had a meal!
