Overrated stay
Stayed from 5th to the 8th march it was a 60th birthday for my partner.
I paid over 700 for the 3 nights which seemed very good at the the time.
When i booked i then phoned and askex if there was anything extra could be done for the 60th birthday i was told i would have one of the best rooms with a view i had room 106 overlooking all the staff having there breaks and smoking so couldnt have window open.i was also told that a birthday banner would be in the room no banner was found.
I was told the 2 complimentry glasses of prosecco would be in the room not the case i had to ask for them at the bar on the first evening.
Over staff in the restaurant very good reception staff a liittle different.
Romantic break
Booked this hotel as a romantic break, room and hotel lovely but Gourmet Restaurant , food disappointing, staff in the evening friendly but food was not great, expensive and some inedible
Breakfast poor selection and waitress was not welcoming , did not smile and it was apparent she did not like us, did not offer us the same service as other tables. Cooked breakfast only 1 bacon, 1 sausage, I mushroom, 1 egg, 1 hash brown, no offer of toast until we asked , only 1 pot of coffee for us both and had to ask for another one,
expected better for the cost paid to stay here
Pleasant stay but heating needs to be addressed.
Generally a pleasant stay, helpful staff.
Room a little dated, needed more information on how to regulate heating in the room. as this caused a problem.
