A good off peak offer. Good large bed in a good size comfy room. All double beds are King or super king.
Midweek Short break
We came as a party of four and enjoyed our short stay at The Wood Norton.
Unfortunately the hotel had suffered a burst pipe prior to our arrival and had also electrical failure that left the lift area in darkness. The shower in our room was only producing cold water during our arrival and following day whereas other rooms had hot shower water. Our room 206 has water coming through the seals of the window pane and this was then gathering on the internal window sill.
We all found the restaurant to be good and the skills of Paige as a waitress to be outstanding. She also demonstrated good personal skills when we checked out.
It would be remiss of me not to comment on the main door entrance to the hotel. The door knob should certainly be replaced at the earliest opportunity before it falls off and it would be helpful to everyone using this door to be guided by a sign indicating which door they should push/pull to gain entry or exit.
An Excellent Break
The five of us in three rooms had an excellent two day break at the Wood Norton, the Hotel and Staff we very welcoming, all very happy with our rooms and it proved to be a relaxing couple of day.
