Nice relaxing weekend away
We went for a weekend break away from the kids and after lockdown so it was quiet and not too busy and just what we needed.
Fantastic building and location
We thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay here and fell in love with the building and its location. Definitely worth paying a little extra to stay in the main house.Drinks in the bar were excellent. The overall standard of food in the restaurant was a little disappointing and the choice somewhat limited (COVID?). Nevertheless we had nothing to complain about. The breakfast menu did not make reference to all that was available so we had to ask for juice, cereals etc. I have seen the rooms described as tired by others but we prefer 'full of character'. Hotel was clean and we felt 'Covid' secure. We would definitely stay here again. .
My wife had a long standing ambition to stay as her grand father had a By Appointment to the Duc d'O
