Could have been better!
We found the dinner menu restricted and not very appealing. The coffee and bread at breakfast were poor quality. To say that the cold meat and cheese at breakfast was somewhat tired is being rather polite. Poached eggs were spoilt by the failure to drain off the weak vinegar solution used to cook them. Vinegar soaked toast is not very tasty! So easy to add a bit of superior polish so people left in good spirits.

We were really looking forward to our stay. It started off well as the room we were in was good and we had a lovely afternoon tea. After that it went downhill.
Dinner items turned up cool or cold, breakfast the same. We did tell the Restaurant Manager who apologised but seems quite disinterested. The receptionist also seemed very blaze about it.
Although the hotel has absolutely stunning gardens, the hotel itself seems to be in need in a bit of a revamp. Just looked a bit tired to us.

room had no toilet brush and the toilet needed scrubbing.Dinner in the restaurant was not up to much .The stainless steel bar looked out of place. It looked like a 1960 coffee bar, and overpriced.
