Could do better
The service in the dining room left much to be desired particularly at breakfast where for example dirty plates were not cleared. The very willing staff are in need of training!.. the bedrooms were lovely but we were bemused to be given cans of water imported from Austria. Water bottled from UK springs is delicious. We enjoyed our stay - but it could have been even better.
If restaurant attention to detail and menu improve it would be excellent
Sadly, we had to ask for missing cutlety on several occasions each night plus salt/pepper. Bad table management.
Most disgusting of all, the starter on my second night was truly discusting.
The duck egg should have had asparagus , no asparagus but instead it came with peas,beans,brown liquid and duck egg so when you cut into egg the yolk floated into liquid. Breakfasts were very good but for having to ask several times for prunes and yogurt each day. Empty dishes or no yogurt replenished. I gave ip in the end. No favours would make the dining better. You asked for honest review.

were tried to be charged for drinks which were not taken, cost of drinks very expensive,
breakfast and evening dinners were excellent, breakfast serving staff were excellent, evening serving staff not so excellent.
