A Present

We were gifted a voucher valued at 120.00 for a stay in a luxury hotel. The only way we could afford to stay anywhere was by using Off Peak Luxury. We had to pay an extra 39.00 for the privilege of this one night. We both consider that 159.00 is extortionate for bed and breakfast.
We were unable to eat at the Wood Norton in the could not afford the prices

Great staff but...

The staff at The Wood Norton were wonderful - friendly, helpful and professional. However we wouldn't visit again. Our room in Pear Tree Mews was unbearably hot due to central heating pipes running around the room, making it very uncomfortable. When we told Reception about this we were immediately offered another, better, room. Unfortunately this room was above the staff smoking area, so when we opened the window our room filled with cigarette smoke. The lamp didn't work independently from the main light, which was annoying if we had to go to the loo in the night. The shower drain was also blocked and flooded the bathroom. We didn't mention these things as we had already complained. The food was excellent, although a bit too rich for our tastes. Portions are huge.

Overrated stay

Stayed from 5th to the 8th march it was a 60th birthday for my partner.
I paid over 700 for the 3 nights which seemed very good at the the time.
When i booked i then phoned and askex if there was anything extra could be done for the 60th birthday i was told i would have one of the best rooms with a view i had room 106 overlooking all the staff having there breaks and smoking so couldnt have window open.i was also told that a birthday banner would be in the room no banner was found.
I was told the 2 complimentry glasses of prosecco would be in the room not the case i had to ask for them at the bar on the first evening.
Over staff in the restaurant very good reception staff a liittle different.
