Relaxing weekend or family fun.
Although there were weddings on each day of our stay the staff were still able to be attentive . There was plenty of room to find somewhere to relax but the hotel also offered lovely gardens where there were summer games to take advantage of should you wish.
Have booked again to take the grandchildren as hotel family friendly and close to town of Evesham and amenities it has there for youngsters.
A pleasant anniversary weekend
Everything was as we expected for a hotel in this price range. The only disappointment was that the promised welcoming bottle of chilled Champagne was a not very nice and not very chilled bottle of Prosecco! If the deal says Champagne it should be Champagne.
Delightful wedding anniversary
A thoroughly enjoyable place to spend a couple of nights away for our wedding anniversary. We had the 'Ultimate Romance' package with a stay in the main building - the Oak panelled room was delightful, and I haven't seen many flats smaller than the bathroom alone! The bed was close to my wife's idea of heaven, and the flowers lasted for a week or so after we got home. My (American) wife was astounded to be staying at a place previously owned by the Pretender to the Throne of France!
The dinner was superb - no course too large or overpowering, but at the end one felt comfortably replete, without being stuffed, having had a temptation to scrape the glaze off the plate in an endeavour to avoid wasting anything.
A couple of minor niggles (they had to send someone out to buy an extension cord so that I could plug in my CPAP machine which I need to sleep, they weren't able to advise very well on what to see locally, and it seemed petty to charge extra for a couple of the dishes at breakfast), but generally close to perfect.
