Sisters Reunion
Myself and my sister stayed at the Wood Norton Hotel for one of biannual catch ups. The hotel was lovely. Plenty of parking, room was nice and clean with lots of space. The restaurant food was excellent. One minor hiccup was that the fire alarm sounded 3 times during the night requiring evacuation of all rooms. This was obviously unexpected and turned out to be a false alarm all 3 times. Unfortunately, it would have been been less disruptive if the reset had been completed successfully on the first occasion.
Lovely weekend away with family and celebratory birthday
We booked 3 rooms for my wife 50 the birthday upgraded 1 room to the bridal suite and it was a wonderful room. Had a lovely overnight stay and great meal in the restaurant and lovely breakfast next day. Hotel and grounds very pleasant, rooms spacious and comfortable, bridal suite very large and special feeling, used the lounge space to cut birthday cake and decorated with banners and balloons had enough space for all 10 people to sit and enjoy. Are was funky and pool room was a bonus. Overall represented good value for money and a memorable stay - thanks.
Very enjoyable stay
This was our second stay at Wood Norton and it was as pleasant as the last.
The room was very comfortable and easily accessible by lift. I had mentioned our lack of mobility and the extent of that was checked with a phonecall before our arrival.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Good choice of menu in the restaurant and breakfast was copious.
