Getaway
We had our wedding here 5 years ago and booked our stay as a return treat. It was lovely to come back and relive some memories. It was a shame we found out all the wedding staff we dealt with had been made redundant during Covid. We also found it looking a bit tired in parts e.g. the games room - the pool table has a damaged cloth, the cues were damaged and the balls the wrong size, there were also no board games available. The decor was also a bit bizarre in places i.e the main bar, fish wallpaper??. The service was very slow in the restaurant but we put this down to a big party booking. Luckily the food lived up to our expectations and we had a delicious meal both on the evening and for breakfast. We hope to keep returning but please give the place some much deserved tlc.
