Charming and elegant
Lovely stay at hotel,very attentive and helpful staff. Excellent food and room was wonderful with fantastic views, would recommend this hotel
Relaxing Worcester retreat
Enjoyed a relaxing two night stay in a ground floor pear tree mews room.
Our room was a generous size with double aspect windows. It was modern and nicely decorated with a lovely pear tree wallpaper and it was clean and comfy. Lovely crisp, white linen throughout and soft fluffy towels to go with the lovely molton brown bathroom products.
The bathroom was a fitted with a Rainforest shower over the bath Which was very refreshing in the morning.
The breakfasts were fabulous, toast followed by a full English as was dinner delightful crab risotto followed by a venison burger with local cheese and the chunkiest chips you could ever wish to eat. For mum it was the Camembert custard and for dinner fish and chips which looked amazing and mum thoroughly enjoyed. We also had a cream tea one afternoon in the lounge. Catering for my gluten free diet was no problem at all at any point.
The gardens are stunning and there is so much history it was a lovely site to explore.
All of the staff were Kind and helpful, friendly and took time to engage with us.
The location is excellent for lots of places we went to Worcester, thought the cotswold villages and popped to Stratford on the way home.
It was a lovely few days away from the busyness of life and I will definitely return.
I would recommend the Wood Norton to others looking for a relaxing stay with really good food in a nice comfortable venue and location.
