A little disappointing...

Welcome at reception was good - the room a superior exec was ok but not exceptional. Evening meal was good - service was good - as it was in the bar. However, no hot water for a shower in the morning - then tried to call reception and the in room telephone was not working. So after a cold shower went to reception who said they would look into both real apology and on checking out the same and no explanation apart from 'everyone else had hot water!! Then internal phone lines not better service than this. Breakfast was very not chance of a offered water or any sauces. Sausage was undercooked - poached egg was cold. Will not be returning

Wonderful hotel but

This is a beautiful hotel and views. It is not in the Cotswolds so not sure why it was on the Hotels in the Cotswolds website.

The food was amazing although very expensive.

It was a real shame that the service was so slow. We waited for at least half an hour just for our drink orders at every meal, and then had long waits for the drinks to come and then food orders. Both at breakfast and dinner. It may have been that they were very short staffed, the staff that were there were very friendly. On one occasion when trying to find someone to serve at the bar the receptionist offered to help find someone but failed to return.

Sadly very frustrating.

Nice hotel but staff could ve been more attentive. Called for room service to the bar for a drink to be brought to the room, sounded as if I was annoying the bar staff. Went down for full english breakfast the next morning which was already paid for, waitress took our order and left, we waited an hour and no breakfast came, we eventually gave up and left. Very expensive for a room not in the main building and for what it was
