Disabled freindly

We were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. My husband is in a wheelchair and needed disabled access. We had a beautiful room with wet room and emergency pullys. We stayed in one of the mews apartments and it was the most relaxing few days I've had for years. The chef even cut up my husband's food before they bought the meal out so I didn't have to do it in front of other guests. It was put on the plate so no one would even notice. Little things like this mean a lot. Thank you so much and I would very highly recommend this place to all I know

Not what we expected

The disabled room itself was really goo with p,entry of room, excellent wet room but its location was poor. It was too far from the hotel up quite a steep slope, even my husband s electric wheelchair struggled. I had lots of his equipment to take from the car to the room and there was no designated disabled bay and because of a car parked on one side and a member of staff s car parked on the other side I struggled to get equipment out. The said member of staff did get a zimmer out but made a very unnecessary remark to me, hence the poor customer service mark. The location is good, some of the staff helpful but we will not be returning

Beautiful hotel amazing gardens, staff were lovely really helpful, Our room was really good and everything was spotlessly clean, the only downside for us was the restaurant, the menu was somewhat strange and we had a job to choose 3 suitable meals that appealed to us both
Our last evening was marred by a very rowdy bbc party , even the waitress said how loud and rowdy they were
It s a shame because the rest of our stay was lovely , I should add the breakfast was amazing, cooked to order
