Average hotel beautiful building.

Some staff were very helpful but service in the restaurant in the evening was quite slow.
The food and wine was quite expensive but overall a pleasant stay.

Perfectly adequate but nothing special

The room was very nice, food was good, pleasant surroundings, but the whole felt tired and in need of a revamp. Coffee/tea/water provision in room disappointing. Customer service lacking at times. Room air conditioning units very noisy at night-time; we had to turn ours off to sleep (no instructions provided) and could hear a constant hum from the one in the next room at night.

Not what we expected

The disabled room itself was really goo with p,entry of room, excellent wet room but its location was poor. It was too far from the hotel up quite a steep slope, even my husband s electric wheelchair struggled. I had lots of his equipment to take from the car to the room and there was no designated disabled bay and because of a car parked on one side and a member of staff s car parked on the other side I struggled to get equipment out. The said member of staff did get a zimmer out but made a very unnecessary remark to me, hence the poor customer service mark. The location is good, some of the staff helpful but we will not be returning
