We were made to feel very welcome.

Great overnight stay. The staff was very helpful, especially in the restaurant.
Excellent overall with a couple of minor gripes
The hotel, rooms, staff and restaurant were all excellent. We did however have a couple of minor gripes.
We started of in room 106 which was a lovely room however in the description for this room category it should have had stunning views, however the view was actually a very close hazel thicket making the room really dark, with no view at all. We chose this category of room because we wanted a lovely view!
When we questioned whether we d been put in the correct room as we were supposed to have a stunning view the staff did move us on our third night to room 104 which did have truly stunning views.
The second gripe was service in the restaurant, it was slow. We asked for a couple of glasses of iced water and having asked four times it took over 45 minutes to arrive. At no point did anyone ask if our meals were ok or if we wanted more drinks. We did have the drinks and dining included with our booking and it would have been nice to have been asked, as we almost certainly did not use all of our drinks credit because of this. The staff were really lovely though and the food excellent.
