Perfectly adequate but nothing special
The room was very nice, food was good, pleasant surroundings, but the whole felt tired and in need of a revamp. Coffee/tea/water provision in room disappointing. Customer service lacking at times. Room air conditioning units very noisy at night-time; we had to turn ours off to sleep (no instructions provided) and could hear a constant hum from the one in the next room at night.
A most enjoyable stay
Clean comfortable room in the Pear Tree Annexe with a short walk to the main building. Hotel is well situated with great views, a short driving distance to Evesham. Lovely front terrace with well tended gardens, there is also the opportunity to create a woodland walk to the rear. Relaxing ambience in listed building with exceptional interiors. Would recommend the specials main menu, at breakfast there are some superb dishes cooked to order. All staff very pleasant and helpful, especially at breakfast.
Relaxing overnight escape
We visited the wood Norton for an overnight stay on the booked via country hotel breaks. The check in was very easy and quick. The room was nice and spacious, very big comfortable bed, beautiful smelling toiletries and nice and warm. The bar is very nice and modern. The waitress behind the bar was very welcoming and friendly. The restaurant is very beautiful with lovely staff as well. All in all a great stay we would really recommend. Great location close to the Cotswolds. Thank you to all the staff.
