Really beautiful
The best of the three hotels we stayed at during a short tour of the cotswolds, beautiful hotel, very good and welcoming staff with a great restaurant.
Loved this Hotel
We stayed for 3 nights midweek in August. Our room can only be described as fabulous. It was in the main building and had a bay window overlooking the front gardens and 2 side window with views over the rear formal gardens and out over the neighbouring countryside. The room was huge with wooden panelling and carvings and the en-suite was large and sumptuous with a large walk-in shower and marble tiling. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the service very professional and unobtrusive. The breakfasts were good though limited by the Covid-19 restriction as was the evening meal in the restaurant. The quality of the food was excellent and the wood panelled surroundings made dining an enjoyable experience.
Great place to relax
Good place to stay but no nearby places to walk from, you always need a car to go around. Saying that, the hotel is in a great place and very convenient
Food is good but you will need to ask for juice if you want any
Also be aware that the music played in the restaurant is the staff music which might not be to your taste, it definitely wasn't ours at dinner
