Nice and relaxing
Nice clean hotel and pleasant staff . Best kept hotel grounds I've seen in a long time , a pleasure to walk round or sit on the terrace and patio admiring the veiw . Room pleasant ,clean and well serviced every day . Large comfortable bed a bonus Only slight negative was parking distant could vary ok in fine weather and the bar was expensive .

Friendly staff, Lovely Hotel and grounds
We had a lovely midweek break , great value, included freshly cooked breakfast plus continental and 30 pp which covered delicious main course for the evening meal. We paid for wine and dessert. The staff were warm and welcoming , we chose an executive room , only slightly more, as it was in the main hotel. We had a spacious room with 2 chairs and a sofa . Very comfortable bed, hot shower, usual tea/coffee, bathrobes and Molton Brown toiletries No slippers , as stated but we weren t bothered . Lovely terrace to sit with a pre dinner drink and admire the view, beautifully ma
Manicured grounds , Chelsea worthy flowers and trees. Staff were all welcoming and helpful , not many of them but the hotel wasn t that busy, breakfast slightly slow one day as staff member of sick.
We liked the character of the hotel with lots of carved wood and panelling. We would definitely stay again
