Great place
Fantastic stay here, very nice room, very quiet. Nice ambience and the staff were very good.
The Spa was superb with lots to do and see.
My only niggle was that it would be nice to of had different evening meal menus for each day. The menu was the same each evening, it didn't change daily. Other than that, very good.
A very enjoyable stay
As a returning customer to Borrington Hall I always look forward to visiting this lovely venue. The building is truly charming with renovations and additions that are complimentary to the historic building. The spa facilities were enjoyable although some repairs needed to showers. Our room was well presented, clean and comfortable with thoughtful complimentary water and tea and coffee. The toiletries are wonderful and really add to the experience of the stay. The staff were very polite and took good care of us although the service was slow- probably due to a temporary restaurant closure. I really hope to return again soon.
Lovely stay, not 5* though
The staff are excellent and the food was incredible. The building itself is lovely and the grounds. The spa was very good but also so busy that we and other people we met came back later so that there was room for us. What let it down is that everything in the room had an associated price tag that made you feel like you were thinking of stealing everything. What let it down the most was that one of our towels, flannels and our bedsheets all had makeup stains on which made everything feel a little grubby in the room from then on.
