Overview
Located in the picturesque village of Chaddesley Corbett, dog-friendly Brockencote Hall is an award-winning hotel housed in a refurbished Victorian manor house.
Set in 70 acres of parkland, complete with a scenic lake it's the perfect place for you and your four-legged friends to enjoy a stroll around the grounds and the perfect base for exploring the stunning Worcestershire countryside. In 1880 Mr. Willis, a well-respected businessman and Mayor of the borough, purchased the Brockencote estate and rebuilt the Hall on the site of an ancient house. Despite alterations and additions, Brockencote Hall is still easily recognizable as a gracious Victorian home. The original building had turrets, but due to a fire in the 1940's they had to be removed.
The Butler family remodeled Brockencote to look more like a French chateau taken as inspiration from their travels across Europe. There has been a house on Brockencote's extensive parkland for over a thousand years, and the site boasts several mysteries. In fact, the surrounding area is probably the most intriguing archaeological site in the locality. Local historians believe that Chaddesley's missing manor house, abandoned in 1578 was located here on our estate along with a watermill which has also never been found.

Really enjoyable
We enjoyed a one-night stay, mid-week. Pretty well everything was excellent. Our negatives include the fact that the portion sizes (at dinner) were small (and with no side dishes available, we felt somewhat 'underfed'). The amount of vegetables with the main course was very small. The lemon tart was disappointing in both presentation and size - it having a soggy pastry base. The outside, sadly, has a large amount of goose faeces (just unfortunate). The positives were that the food was delicious. The breakfasts were very good. Our room was superb! The staff were really excellent (ie reception, waiters, waitresses). Danka was our 'lady of the match' at breakfast. We look forward to a return visit. Thank you!
Perfect half way stopover.
Looking for an overnight stop when motoring from Gatwick to N. Wales
noticed this hotel in an area that we knew. Turned out to be just the job.
Easy to find quiet, welcoming, relaxing and very comfortable with very tasty
food. Ideal place for us on this and probably future travels.
Very good
Disappointing start when having booked in a superior room found ourselves in a sparce looking room clearly geared up for disabled and lacked warm atmosphere with reduced sitting area. Was informed it was the only room left but we were moved for reminder of stay and staff extremely happy to offer us alternative room which was much better. Staff were super nice and efficient and friendly. Our bill unfortunately was wrong with extra charges for services not received but was amended when we informed them. Would stay again but definitely confirm prior to arrival which room we had been allocated
