Overview
Located in the picturesque village of Chaddesley Corbett, dog-friendly Brockencote Hall is an award-winning hotel housed in a refurbished Victorian manor house.
Set in 70 acres of parkland, complete with a scenic lake it's the perfect place for you and your four-legged friends to enjoy a stroll around the grounds and the perfect base for exploring the stunning Worcestershire countryside. In 1880 Mr. Willis, a well-respected businessman and Mayor of the borough, purchased the Brockencote estate and rebuilt the Hall on the site of an ancient house. Despite alterations and additions, Brockencote Hall is still easily recognizable as a gracious Victorian home. The original building had turrets, but due to a fire in the 1940's they had to be removed.
The Butler family remodeled Brockencote to look more like a French chateau taken as inspiration from their travels across Europe. There has been a house on Brockencote's extensive parkland for over a thousand years, and the site boasts several mysteries. In fact, the surrounding area is probably the most intriguing archaeological site in the locality. Local historians believe that Chaddesley's missing manor house, abandoned in 1578 was located here on our estate along with a watermill which has also never been found.

Upgraded room lovely with beautiful views however a disturbed nights sleep with a generator like noise . Excellent quality food, slightly disappointing that there was no change of menu on the second evening.
Nice but could have been better.
We booked a dinner, bed and breakfast deal. Inclusive in this was accommodation in a standard room.Whilst the room was clean and well appointed with a quite pleasing outlook it was on the small size. There were much bigger rooms with better outlooks not within our scheme. However no attempt was made to offer a better room - whether this was due to the hotel being full I do not know. This was suggested would be done if there was availability under the package offer.
Whilst a good allowance in the offer was for dinner I felt the costs were far too much for the quality and quanity of food at dinner - though there were some nice small extra touches. The dinner menu needs to offer more choices and not have so many supplements for already expensive food. i would only rate the food at dinner in both quality and quanity as fair.
The quality and quanity of the breakfast however was excellent and very enjoyable.
All staff encountered were very professional and Covid 19 restrictions were adhered to very well.
10 year wedding anniversary disappointment
I stayed here with my husband for our 10 year wedding anniversary as our 2nd honeymoon abroad got cancelled due to covid. We arrived at the hotel, checkout was ok, couldn't really understand or hear gentleman on reception as he had a mask on but all ok. Our room was one of the feature rooms, which was ok, a little dated especially
The bathroom, few cobwebs and stain on sheets. We decided to go for a drink after checking in to be waiting nearly 20 minutes to be served as no one was in bar, my husband had to go to reception to ask.
The dinner in the evening wasn't great, the service from one of the waitresses was poor, 3 times she came over to my husband whilst eating our starter's to ask if we were finished, you could clearly see he hadn't and when he had finished the starter she said about time. The whole experience of the service wasn't great but the food was brilliant. I have to say we have been to quite a few hotels and this was the least we enjoyed and was very disappointed as this was a very special occasion which it didn't feel
