Overview
Located in the picturesque village of Chaddesley Corbett, dog-friendly Brockencote Hall is an award-winning hotel housed in a refurbished Victorian manor house.
Set in 70 acres of parkland, complete with a scenic lake it's the perfect place for you and your four-legged friends to enjoy a stroll around the grounds and the perfect base for exploring the stunning Worcestershire countryside. In 1880 Mr. Willis, a well-respected businessman and Mayor of the borough, purchased the Brockencote estate and rebuilt the Hall on the site of an ancient house. Despite alterations and additions, Brockencote Hall is still easily recognizable as a gracious Victorian home. The original building had turrets, but due to a fire in the 1940's they had to be removed.
The Butler family remodeled Brockencote to look more like a French chateau taken as inspiration from their travels across Europe. There has been a house on Brockencote's extensive parkland for over a thousand years, and the site boasts several mysteries. In fact, the surrounding area is probably the most intriguing archaeological site in the locality. Local historians believe that Chaddesley's missing manor house, abandoned in 1578 was located here on our estate along with a watermill which has also never been found.

Excellent break
This is our third trip staying at Brockencote hall over the last few years. We ve always found the rooms luxuriously appointed, very clean and comfortable! Service is very good and the food excellent. It s a lovely place for us to go and stay for dinner bed and breakfast with our son and his partner, and spend quality time together! Lovely grounds to walk about in.

Super value, superb food and a relaxing ambience.
Standing unpretentiously in some lovely grounds with ample parking Brockencote Hall looked the part of a country house hotel. Once inside we were not disappointed, a friendly receptionist in a welcoming, comfortable lobby greeted us warmly to inform us that our room was ready even though we had arrived slightly early.
We had not taken the opportunity to upgrade to a deluxe room which we regretted as the Classic room offered was up in the eaves and although clean and comfortable (apart from some cobwebs around the window) looked in need of refurbishing, a coat of paint to brighten it maybe. By contrast the bathroom was new, sparkling and well appointed. However, with my sister and I both being tall and the shower being under the eaves it did not give us any real headroom. The bath was very deep and difficult to enter and exit even for us, the tasteful stone edging actually being too wide to step over comfortably.
The real highlight and and what made this deal such good value for money was the food which, in our opinion, would compare to some of the best French cuisine and that served in high class restaurants, beautifully cooked with subtle flavours. To have an amuse-bouche was a lovely surprise although the palate cleanser before the dessert did not quite work. Breakfast, with a huge choice , was equally as good (apart from the strangest scrambled eggs) and, as dinner, served with excellent, friendly yet discrete service giving the restaurant a very comfortable ambience.
A most enjoyable break.
