Danesfield House Hotel & Spa

Great hotel with excellent facilities

Needed a short break for my husband and myself. We selected this hotel based on reviews and also location which is basically half way between Marlow and Henley. We were on a package booked through Off Peak Leisure which offered a really good deal. We had dinner on the first night and breakfast both mornings. Breakfast is cooked to order and was very good quality. The offer also gave us a bottle of champagne on arrival. We were lucky enough to get early check in and also a room upgrade. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Dinner in the restaurant was good however the bottle of wine we ordered could have been chilled better. My only negative criticism was the price of the drinks. Spa facilities were really good. Large pool with sauna, jacuzzi and steam room and a well equipped gym.

JUST SUPERB!

What a gem of a hotel! The service was second to none, from the check-in reception staff, Bar, Spa Restaurant. We ate in the hotels restaurant every night and the food was superb; being asking if we had allergies, taking such good care of us from escorting us from the bar with your drinks, to perfectly timed service. Breakfasts were just as superb. Our room was perfect, huge bed, modern bathroom, beautiful outlook onto the gardens, spotlessly clean. Honestly, we cannot remember having such excellent and very professional service, in any hotel, anywhere. Planning our next visit, just wonderful!

Lovely stay

Stayed for the weekend, our room was wonderful with our own private outdoor garden table bit, the spa facilities (pool jacuzzi sauna steam room) were the best we ve been to, food was delicious (although maybe we had hyped it up a little bit but was still great), staff were great and helpful, thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back
