Helpful staff - rooms a bit tired
Hotel was tricky to deal with prior to our arrival. Having expressed a preference for dining times when booking through Off Peak Luxury the Hotel refused ALL of these and confirmed earlier times stating that these were the only times available. No apparent reason for this as Restaurant was never busy. Also reception refused to discuss choice of bed mattresses in advance stating that they were all comfortable. They proved to be too firm for us leading to disturbed sleep.
On arrival however staff were lovely and welcoming. Excellent service in the restaurant. Guests should note that the hotel adds an "optional" service charge of 12.5% on all meals and drinks. They applied this to Dinner on the first night (supposedly included in the booked and paid-for package). They readily removed this when I queried it on check-out. Bedrooms are rather tired and need refurbishing (poor heating) but ours was very large and light with a great view. Lift currently not working. A pleasant experience overall but could easily be improved with a little more attention to detail.

FROM M4
Exit J7 at next roundabout and turn left onto A4 (Bath Road). First right at traffic lights to mini-roundabout, turn right. Straight across traffic lights. Proceed until mini-roundabout. Turn left, take first right into Grove Road. Burnham Beeches Hotel is 200 metres on the right-hand side.
FROM M40
Exit J2 on A355 Southbound to Slough. After Farnham Sommon, turn right at the second of a pair of mini roundabouts onto Farnham Lane towards Burnham. Turn right at next mini-roundabout onto Britwell Road. Turn right after 100mt into Grove Road. Burnham Beeches Hotel is 200 metres on the right-hand side.
