Well needed break
I had wanted to stay at Danesfield House for a long time
Overall I would say my stay was disappointing, mainly due to the service and food quality in the restaurant, which is why I cancelled my dinner booking for the second night
However I would give full marks to the hard working gardeners as the grounds were absolutely beautiful
Disappointed
Room and restaurant were good but we had to leave on that first evening after dinner due to circumstances at home, and which I explained to reception staff. Having charged me over 700 for the three night stay ( and we had only sat in our room for an hour) they still insisted on charging for our glass of wine and water. I was not impressed and will certainly not return or recommend.

We are sorry to hear you had to leave the hotel due to personal reasons.
As you can probably understand the hotel may not have been able to fill your room for those nights at that short notice. Also the cancellation policy does state within 48 hours the booking is non refundable.

Lovely stay, but not exactly what expected
I have purchased champagne Spa stay for two for friends birthday, with the offer that included an option to exchange champagne into afternoon tea. But when booking, the price was higher than before, and when I contacted hotel to arrange afternoon tea time, they said its not included in my offer. We did not want to drink alcohol, and champagne (marked as value of 60 on the deal) was exchanged for us into a voucher each for two mocktails. However, there are only two sad mocktails in the menu, costing 8, and it really felt like we're not receiving what we've paid for... If I knew this in advance, we would have booked elsewhere, as an afternoon tea was an important choice for my decision.
Surrounding grounds were neglected a lot since the last time I've visited, with no water features (all dried out), and overgrown beyond imminent grounds of the hotel, so no long walks available as it used to be.
The best part of our stay was the dinner. It was absolutely lovely, food is delicious and presented well. Spa experience was also nice, even though we haven't booked any massage in advance, so there was no availability to book anything on the day. I would come back here for dinner it afternoon tea, not sure if I'd book a deal that is not what it says on a tin.

We have looked into this and your package states 'A complimentary bottle of Champagne in your room on arrival', no where on the package or your confirmation does it state you can swap for afternoon tea.

Regrettably, Danesfield House does not currently have Electric Vehicle charging points at the hotel. However there are EV charging points just 5 minutes away in Marlow town centre at Pound Lane Car Park.

FROM M4
Exit J7 at next roundabout and turn left onto A4 (Bath Road). First right at traffic lights to mini-roundabout, turn right. Straight across traffic lights. Proceed until mini-roundabout. Turn left, take first right into Grove Road. Burnham Beeches Hotel is 200 metres on the right-hand side.
FROM M40
Exit J2 on A355 Southbound to Slough. After Farnham Sommon, turn right at the second of a pair of mini roundabouts onto Farnham Lane towards Burnham. Turn right at next mini-roundabout onto Britwell Road. Turn right after 100mt into Grove Road. Burnham Beeches Hotel is 200 metres on the right-hand side.
