Wonderful weekend break
A weekend at Danesfield House is like being transported to another era and another world. The courtyarded building is a mixture of a Renaissance castle and Riviera resort. There is lots to see and explore indoors and out: the tapestry Lounge, the orangery restaurant and the art lined corridors as well as the woodlands, the fountain garden and the paths right down to the river. The food was delicious and the staff charming. Accommodation was spacious and comfortable. Treat yourself!
A very relaxing break
We had a most enjoyable stay at Danesfield House which we extended for an extra night. The food was excellent and the whole experience a delight.
Anniversary treat
Absolutely lovely time. Staff were welcoming, room was great. There was one little niggle, something you wouldn't know about unless you slept in the room, but we reported it and it was sorted out immediately with grace and without fuss.
The food was delicious and the wine waiter was amazing, so kind and stopped to talk to us about our choices without intruding, encouraged us to try Portuguese wine, and it was stunning.
Two waitresses were also great, Caitlin and Ella, very attentive, and happy to talk to use about the food. Really good service.
Swimming pool and spa area was lovely too, the grounds beautiful. We were there in February and i bet in Summer it is absolutely stunning.

FROM M4
Exit J7 at next roundabout and turn left onto A4 (Bath Road). First right at traffic lights to mini-roundabout, turn right. Straight across traffic lights. Proceed until mini-roundabout. Turn left, take first right into Grove Road. Burnham Beeches Hotel is 200 metres on the right-hand side.
FROM M40
Exit J2 on A355 Southbound to Slough. After Farnham Sommon, turn right at the second of a pair of mini roundabouts onto Farnham Lane towards Burnham. Turn right at next mini-roundabout onto Britwell Road. Turn right after 100mt into Grove Road. Burnham Beeches Hotel is 200 metres on the right-hand side.
