Danesfield House - 3 night stay July 21
The overall look is outstanding and in an excellent location to discover Marlow and Henley. Bed very comfy although room overall was tired and not as luxury as hoped - furniture bashed, shower difficult and access to shared balcony was awkward. Shared balcony not ideal as if you were relaxing on the bed, residents could just walk by and look in - as happened to us! Breakfast good and dinner in a nice restaurant. Couldn't book Spa treatments as they were full, and restricted access to Spa area was restricting too due to Covid rules. Overall, visit very pleasant, but not overwhelming.
Danesfield House review
I went with a friend for a spa break. We got a great deal through 'off peak luxury' to stay for one night with dinner, bed and breakfast with an option of either champagne in the bedroom or afternoon tea. It also included one hour each day of use of the pool / spa area. I was very pleasantly surprised. it was a very easy journey there. Straight up the A40 then onto the M40. 1 hour from home in London. It is a beautiful building, set in gorgeous grounds. We had a superior room, which was huge with a sofa and coffee table and gorgeous windows overlooking the grounds. I had a wonderful massage with a girl called Carla. The pool was a good size for swimming and there was a jacuzzi and sauna and steam room. Dinner was so elegantly presented and politely served. Overall, no complaints at all.

FROM M4
Exit J7 at next roundabout and turn left onto A4 (Bath Road). First right at traffic lights to mini-roundabout, turn right. Straight across traffic lights. Proceed until mini-roundabout. Turn left, take first right into Grove Road. Burnham Beeches Hotel is 200 metres on the right-hand side.
FROM M40
Exit J2 on A355 Southbound to Slough. After Farnham Sommon, turn right at the second of a pair of mini roundabouts onto Farnham Lane towards Burnham. Turn right at next mini-roundabout onto Britwell Road. Turn right after 100mt into Grove Road. Burnham Beeches Hotel is 200 metres on the right-hand side.
