Good on the whole but needs attention
Not a great start by being shown to the wrong (and already occupied) room, left me wondering when our door would fly open when we were in there! The room's coffee and tea facilities hadn't been replenished and we couldn't get through to reception at all (no answer) so my husband had to go downstairs himself.
Thankfully the spa and evening restaurant experiences made up for the FOH debacle. The food as part of the evening meal was really delicious and set in a lovely room with big, comfortable dining chairs. The room itself was fine if a little shabby in parts, breakfast and afternoon teas were nice enough. The staff always felt friendly but it was hard to get over that first impression, and one of the staff needs a new blazer!

We are delighted you enjoyed the spa and the restaurant experience however we are sorry to read about the housekeeping shortcomings and you being shown to the wrong room which we sincerely do apologies for.
Please rest assured that the incident of you being shown to an already occupied room is extremely rare, and we have looked in to this as a matter of urgency to ensure this does not happen again.

A special Country Hotel in a delightful location, extensive grounds , magnificent views over Thames.
Lovely Hotel in magnificent grounds. Staff extremely helpful and attentive. Restaurant, food & drinks excellent but very pricey.
Our room was tired and in need of some refurbishment, which I understand had already happened to others. This spoilt our stay as we were expecting a luxury room from the description given to us.
What a find! We shall be returning
The hotel is stunning. Every part of it is tastefully decorated. We particularly liked the grand hall with gorgeous furnishings.
Our room (The Farley I think!) was so much bigger than we expected and the views of the grounds and Thames were lovely. The bed was extremely huge and comfortable.
Afternoon tea was the best we d ever had, and we ve had a few!
Dinner was delicious and everything was cooked and presented to a very high standard.
We had such a fantastic and romantic break and will definitely return .

Exit J7 at next roundabout and turn left onto A4 (Bath Road). First right at traffic lights to mini-roundabout, turn right. Straight across traffic lights. Proceed until mini-roundabout. Turn left, take first right into Grove Road. Burnham Beeches Hotel is 200 metres on the right-hand side.
FROM M40
Exit J2 on A355 Southbound to Slough. After Farnham Sommon, turn right at the second of a pair of mini roundabouts onto Farnham Lane towards Burnham. Turn right at next mini-roundabout onto Britwell Road. Turn right after 100mt into Grove Road. Burnham Beeches Hotel is 200 metres on the right-hand side.
